Reserva of Exclusive Rights

Apart from regulating the rights of authors and derivative works, the Mexican Law of Rights of Author confers the faculty of using and exploiting exclusively the following objects through a legal figure called “Reserva of Rights”.

• Titles of periodical publications.
• Titles of periodical transmissions.
• Names and distinctive physical and psychological characteristics of human and fictitious characters.
• Artistic names.
• Names and original operation characteristics of advertising promotions.
